    Project Overview

Mystique Integrated led the #AnythingForTheTaste brief for KFC Jamaica. Arrdublu handled filming and post. Ramone Wynter captured a 9:16 location-hop with @HitWes across two KFC stores, then cut the Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook masters — hard cuts, type on the punch, food-true grade, safe areas set per platform.

    The live caption stayed campaign-true:

Two KFC locations, one mission to get a KFC Big Deal! @HitWes is ready to challenge anyone in his way!😩 How far would you go for that taste? 🍗💥 #AnythingForTheTaste #KFCJamaica #KFCBigDeal #KFC

    The Challenge

Fast-food retail promotions in Jamaica face fast feeds. Audiences scroll past menu graphics and billboard adaptations without pausing. The brief required demand for the KFC Big Deal without corporate marketing tropes. We had to make a combo meal feel like a real mission on a handheld screen. The shoot had to capture street banter, meet franchise standards across restaurants, and stop thumbs immediately without relying on audio cues.

    Our Solution

01 Concept: Translated #AnythingForTheTaste into a street dare that turned a retail purchase into physical comedy. 02 Beat sheet: Mapped four functional beats: face-and-dare hook, transit between two stores, meal payoff, and a closing question. 03 Talent and locations: Paired @HitWes with counter staff and customers at two operating KFC locations. 04 Capture: Shot 9:16 vertical video on foot, tracking walking dialogue, street reactions, counter interactions, and product inserts. 05 Edit and motion: Cut for hard comedic timing in Premiere Pro, added sound-off captions, and graded for warm food-true color. 06 Caption and packaging: Built a four-line caption hierarchy pairing the dare with campaign tags and clear thumbnail framing. 07 Platform cut: Mastered distinct versions for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and a 60-second TikTok sister cut, adjusting graphics for platform UI safe zones.

Verified public telemetry only. Instagram is the conversation (5,798 likes / 41 comments). TikTok is the second-feed proof (62.6K views / 4,132 likes / 26 comments / 133 shares). Facebook is the reach number (404K views / 2K reactions). Sixty-seven public comments sit across Instagram and TikTok; they stay in the table, not in a trophy chip. The thread is about the meal, the talent, and the dare.

The Cut That Sparked It All

Timings below describe the shorter IG/Facebook cut (~32s). The TikTok sister is 60 seconds and holds the same four beats with extra walk and reaction.

    THE HOOK (0:00 - 0:02)

    Face and dare, sound-off

    THE MOVE (0:02 - 0:18)

    Location-hop between two KFC stores

    THE REWARD (0:18 - 0:26)

Counter + product insert + bite

    Craft Notes

    • •Native 9:16 Composition: Built from capture to delivery for vertical smartphone viewing, keeping action centered in 9:16 and 4:5 previews.
    • •Silent-First Visual Hierarchy: Bold on-screen type anchors key jokes and story points so the video functions with audio muted.
    • •Food-True Color: Post-production balanced exposure and saturation for natural chicken texture without unnatural digital grading.
    • •Safe-Zone Engineering: Text, lower thirds, and logos sit within universal margins, clear of interface overlays on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
    • •Local Register: Grounded in Jamaican vernacular and creator energy while adhering to KFC franchise and sanitation rules.
    • •Honest Data Rigor: Reports verified public telemetry only, rejecting synthetic multipliers or simulated foot-traffic models.
